The Boudoir Factor
Most people think that confidence is what they need, and it becomes what they search for. I must admit that few women first think that a nude or boudoir photo session can be a solution. I’ll come back to that in a bit.
What is interesting is a definition of confidence as “something you get as the result of doing something repeatedly until you are good at it, thus gaining confidence.”
What you need first is courage, the courage to do something the first time or, for that matter, to do it again, in the face of possible failure, until you can do it well.
Courage is what happens when you fail then get back up again. Then you repeat, many times perhaps, again and again. It is not so much as facing a fear or being fearless as it is doing something anyway.
Being Confident Makes You Courageous
This is naturally how you grow, becoming confident as you make doing courageous things a habit. Now we are not talking about saving the world every time stuff or saving people from burning buildings. We are talking about doing something that challenges you.
The more comfortable you become with doing things requiring your personal level of courage, the easier, more habitual it becomes.
Each time you boldly take your courage through something has a scare factor, yet you know the prize on the other side, it becomes attractive to do so.
This is precisely how most women frame their photography experience with us. Building courage on this path to self-confidence. Looking deeper than what at first could be thought of as going nude or in skimpy lingerie.
