Chandra & The Tiger Boudoir Session

Chandra & The Tiger Boudoir Session

Years ago, we used to get exotic critters in our studio, mainly lions, wolves and tigers. Our Calgary Boudoir Photography studio is known for its unusual and creative sessions. Tasha was a very young tiger who loved our studio and human attention.

These sessions were always popular. For Chandra, it was a once-in-a-lifetime moment. She was as fast as Tasha in booking her session. Chandra loved our work, our approach. Her 12 photo sessions, from nudes to boudoir to business, were evidence of that.

The chance to be photographed with a Tiger was exciting for her. Her friends thought she was crazy, fearless, or a bit of both. She was simply excited. Chandra told her friends she trusted Mark and the whole Inner Spirit Photo team.

She had a blast with Tasha. These sessions go at the pace and energy of the animal. Tasha loved being engaged and interacting. Then, in a flash, she would think she saw something and bound over to investigate, just like a tabby. But, oh, was she fast, a blur when she moved.

We waited for her, laughing at the little kitten mind in this big cat body. Chandra said it was pretty easy to be upstaged by Tasha. She remembered W.C. Fields saying, “Never work with children or animals!”

Tasha was a friendly, happy soul, quickly coaxed into posing. She loved to interact with people. Irene, her handler, worked easily with her, bringing out so many playful moments. It was a blast, with so many great images to show for it.

Chandra had so much fun that she booked a session for her daughter, Justine. A teen and an overgrown kitten- what a combination to work with. Justine was in awe of the moment and Tasha. She was a bit more reserved than her mom but just as engaged.

Chandra and Justine still talk about their unbelievable session. Without their photos, people would think they were joking about it. When Chandra pulls her book out, either by request or by offering, there are lots of oohs and ahhs over the unique images.

Tasha has long been grown up and no longer visits our studio. She was so much fun the many times she did. It touches something deep in your heart, your soul,  to interact with such a beautiful animal. We were thrilled to be able to bring such an awesome, exhilarating experience to our clients.

We are constantly coming up with interesting and exciting options for our boudoir sessions. Women are delighted to be photographed in such unique options for their once-in-a-lifetime experience.

These days, the hot trend is our Body Fire, the Phoenix option with body painting and Shibari rope art close behind. We will tell you more about those in future blogs; subscribe to keep connected.

So, what would trigger your desire for a uniquely personal boudoir or nude photography session?
