Body Fire Sessions: Gone In 4 Months

Body Fire Sessions: Gone In 4 Months

Our Body Fire add on to our boudoir photo shoots and nude photography are popular but soon won’t be available. They are amazing, like a phoenix rising flames race from breasts to toes, across arms and from shoulders to bums.

We have had flames dancing on the brims of cowboy hats, traveling down silver chains and across arms, and encircling spinning basket balls.

I think having our sword wrapped in flames was one of the most visually powerful “burning” props we worked with.

Keziah our Fire Master is incredible to watch. She is a commanding calming presence. Her creativity with flames is at a rare level.

No hype when I say no one else can do what she does, she is that unique and well trained.

Before each session she gets my clients comfortable with the fire, how it works, how it feels and of course safety measures.

Nerves fade stunningly quick, the excitement and anticipation is clearly visible.

We have several add on sessions. There is Body Painting which we have been offering for a few decades now. Shibari, the Japanese of artful rope designs, usually as bondage but not always.

Body Fire is new.

We do a regular boudoir photography session or a nude photo shoot, then, as that wraps up, Keziah appears for the add on. It is usually for an hour or two.

The flames are unpredictable in many ways.  The travel speed, the shape and brightness along with the sprites. Yes, sprites.

They randomly show up, we can’t design or plan for them. There are animals, like deer, giraffes, wolves, birds, and fairy like sprites. They are so clearly seen.

We have had fun with the presentation of them. A bit back we gave a presentation of Body Fire at my BNI (Business Networking International) meeting. Our president had given approval for it but told no one else.

Carol Pederson, who loved the body fire, joined me. As I talked about my photography, some of the unique things I had created and offered, Keziah was prepping our arms, then laying on the accelerant, lots of it. Carol had stretched her arm toward mine, our hands met in a fist bump.

Suddenly Keziah counts down, to the bewilderment of the crowd, not sure what they were counting down. At the one count she touched a flame on Carols arm. Huge flames raced across her arm to the length of mine.

It was totally unexpected; the crowd’s response was fantastic.

When people see images of this Phoenix effect, they are amazed.

My clients enjoy this powerful boost of confidence and body embracing.

BUT, KEZIAH IS LEAVING, so it will be coming to an end.

By the end of August, she is heading to Toronto to spend time with her aging mentor. And there might be some romance involved. She wants to spend as much time as she can with her long-time mentor and new time with fresh connection.

We are going to miss her and her captivating skills for our Session Add-ons.

Inner Spirit Photography has been an empowering force for women for 45 years now. Women come to us to celebrate themselves and their bodies, their precious achievements or milestone markers. Or they come to heal, to bolster confidence, become empowered, to see how the world sees them. To find and express their boldness and power.

Body Fire with Keziah has been a fantastic extension to this. Like kicking in after burners to an already uplifting experience.

Keziah talks about the symbolism of fire, how it is primal to us. How it stirs a rebirth in many ways. The phoenix insight is often felt as a burning away of the past hurts in a way that can be spiritual. Combined with the Inner Spirit Boudoir or Nude session experience, it takes change to a new level.

The most common question is what’s it feel like. Well, like you brushed close to a radiator heater. There is an emotional rush as you watch the flames rise and race across your body.

Because of the introduction Keziah does, there is at most, passing concern. Mostly it is awe that you feel.

But the availability of Body Fire is on a countdown. We only have 16 sessions left until August to offer it. Do you want this rare experience. It is truly once in a lifetime!
